Changelog
0.59.5
Improved
- Small text across the app is now darker and easier to read. Muted labels, the sage and rose status colours, and gold text were all too light against their backgrounds to meet accessibility standards.
- Nothing renders smaller than 10px any more. The smallest labels on the timeline canvas and on shared timelines were previously as small as 8px.
- Every control now shows a visible gold outline when you reach it with the keyboard. Some buttons previously gave no indication at all of where you were.
- Gold is now reserved for golden hour and sunset markers, keyboard focus, and the main action on a screen. It previously appeared on so many small labels that the golden hour markers had no more emphasis than a note heading.
- Times on the timeline all use one consistent typeface. They previously rendered in a third font that varied by operating system.
- If you use a light brand colour, small text set in it is automatically darkened so it stays readable, while your original colour is still used for everything else.
- Gold buttons are a slightly deeper amber so their white labels are readable, and they now visibly darken when you hover them. The hover previously did nothing at all.
0.59.4
Fixed
- Short blocks now show when they are hidden from the client or carry notes. A 15 minute block looked identical whether or not it was hidden, so it was easy to send a client PDF without noticing something was left out.
- Dragging a Section onto the 24 hour view no longer appears to do nothing. Sections live in the agenda view, so the Section option now only appears there.
- A shared timeline with nothing marked visible to the client now says the timeline is still being finalized, instead of showing an empty table.
- Line breaks in block notes are kept on shared timelines and client PDFs. Notes written as a short list previously arrived as one run-on sentence.
- Build backwards from the ceremony is now always available from the toolbar when a ceremony has a start time. Answering "No" to the prompt used to hide the feature for that wedding permanently.
Improved
- Shared timelines and client PDFs now use proper headings and table structure, so screen readers can navigate them. The design is unchanged.
0.59.3
Fixed
- Times, category labels and venue labels on shared timelines and client PDFs are now darker where needed so they stay readable. If your brand color is light, a darkened version of it is used for small text while your original color is still used everywhere else.
- The client-visibility control on a block or section now shows the state it is actually in. It previously always read "Visible to collaborators", including on blocks that were hidden.
- You can now work the timeline with the keyboard. Tab to a block, press Space to select it, Enter to open it, and the arrow keys to move it in 15 minute steps. Selecting a block previously required a mouse, which also made the existing arrow-key move and delete shortcuts unreachable.
Security
- Shared timeline, questionnaire and client access links are no longer indexed by search engines. These pages can include phone numbers and venue addresses.

- Behind-the-scenes maintenance and stability improvements.
0.59.0
Improved
- The shot list view now uses the full width of the wedding details panel. Your couple's family and wedding party list sits alongside the shot list for reference, and each section shows in its own column.
0.58.0
Improved
- The browser tab and link-preview title now reads "Daymarked | Wedding Timelines for Photographers".
- The questionnaire's vendor section is easier for couples: pick a vendor type from a dropdown to add one, every field is labeled, and there is a new contact person field
New
-
Every vendor and second shooter now has its own page showing their contact details, tags, notes, and the weddings they are linked to
-
The vendors dashboard is a sortable list: click Name, Category, Contact, or Company to sort, choose visible columns with the settings cog, and filter to preferred vendors with the star
-
US phone numbers format automatically as you type across vendor and wedding contact fields
-
A new "Copy Instagram handles" link on a wedding's vendor list copies every vendor's handle in caption-ready "Role: @handle" lines, so tagging vendors in a post takes one click instead of hunting for each handle
-
When a wedding's saved vendor details differ from the vendor database record, the vendor's info window now shows the differences side by side so you can update the wedding field by field
-
When a vendor's database record has contact details a wedding is missing, clicking their row in the wedding now offers to fill in the blanks with one click
-
Vendor phone numbers, emails, and Instagram handles can now be copied with a single click anywhere they appear in the vendor database and Vendor Team lists
-
When adding a wedding vendor or team member who is already in your vendor database, the add form now suggests the existing record so you can link it with one click instead of creating a duplicate
-
Vendor Team members who are not in your vendor database now show a small gold dot next to their name as a reminder to add them
-
Vendors page: save the vendors and second shooters you work with to a reusable database. When a couple's questionnaire names a vendor you already know, the wedding's Vendor Team tab suggests the match so you can link it in one click, and you can add second shooters to a wedding's crew straight from your list.
Fixed
-
Vendors you have linked to your database stay linked when a couple updates their questionnaire answers
-
Creating a new wedding failed with "Failed to create wedding. Please try again." for account owners. Wedding creation works again.
-
Editing a block's times twice in quick succession on a slow connection could make the editor show the earlier time again, even though the later time was saved. The editor now always shows the latest edit.
